Thanks, Jamis! you can link to the festival site through the PAMBA site. It is in a work in progress and is changing daily with information as it becomes available.
Should be a good time. Trek, Giant and Ellsworth will all have demo bikes available. Guided rides at all the area trails, etc. More info to come, but please check it out.

Please plan on hanging out with us in Peoria on May 4-6, 2007 for the Midwest Mountain Bike Festival! Advocacy classes (from IMBA, IDNR, USACE) on the 4th, group rides (6 parks!!), games, music, food, fun for Saturday and Sunday. Demo crews from Trek, Ellsworth, and Giant, a DH course, dirt jump area, trials area, and northshore areas will be available!! The events will be headquartered at the US Army Corps of Engineers' Farmdale Reservoir in East Peoria. Updates: Leinenkugel's is this year's official "adult beverage" provider!! Summit Friday is now the "ClifBar Advocacy Summit"....IMBA TCC will be there, classes on technical trail features, creating trail with Stihl Yardboss equipment, and much other stuff.... Ellsworth, Giant, Trek, Slingshot, DaVinci Tandems, T9, Hammer products, Thomson, and much more. Night ride poker run, games, food, fun, group rides, maps, camping, music, what more do you want?

Update: Leinenkugel's is the "adult beverage" provider!!! ClifBar is sponsoring the "advocacy summit" on friday the 4th umm....Ellsworth, Davinci tandems, slingshot, trek, giant, will all have test rides. Raffle items galore.... group rides....music...fun...games....poker ride AT NIGHT...what more could you want?

*drumroll please*........PAMBA President Midz worked his voodoo magic and we got SPECIALIZED coming with demo bikes and swag!!!! This is going to be HUGE....don't miss it. Don't forget....group rides and/or maps to 6 different trail systems....the dowhill (yes...I said downhill in Peoria) course will be open, the mountain cross/dirt jump area will be open, northshore stuff, tandems, singlespeeds, music, food, fun, games....this is a fest for ALL!!!! go register to make sure you get your T'shirt and Leinenkugel gift!!!! I'm in. Got a old riding partner on the fence. and I beleive the Nortsida Ridaz are going, or some of us...
Feeling like a lazy lil bitch, so signing up is a great incentive to get in shape.
All remodelling work and no play makes SOGOAK a fat crabby dull boy.
