Both bikes are mine. The Bke Pdlr's gears didn't work..... The green bike is obviously a Redline 29er. I bought it from Kegels last weekend. It's the best $470 of mountain bike I think it is possible to buy. For the orange bike, check this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/22687338@N00/I have a love/hate relationship with it, but it did not buck me at Rockcut this morning, despite riding it fixed, so I won't say anything bad about it.

Hey Go Hard or GH,
What were you riding?
Both of us were rigid SS'ers on 29ers. My gear was a not so whimpy 36X14, but then I didn't coast.

I must confess, it's not as bad as I thought it would be, except for the lack of any suspension. I enjoyed it so much I mooched one of these for "long term test ride evaluation". I blame you Markie, it's all you're fault! Wanker!

Hi Yeti Clyde, I hunted you down on MTBR and PM'ed you there to thankyou and your son for the test-ride, but I guess you rarely check your PM's. And yeah the big wheels felt great right from the start. Oh and here is a link to somewhere I and my old buddie blog: http://bikecentric.blogspot.com/

Sorry Red Dog, sometimes a man has to take that bold step into the unknown and embrace the change. BTW, did you ever get that 8 track tape player installed in you're new ride...?
